Ghanaian musician, Okyeame Kwame, shared a revelation that stirred a wave of surprise across the airwaves.

Known for his lyrical talents, he candidly discussed the unconventional path he and his wife, Annica Nsiah-Apau, took in their marriage.

He said that, like his wife’s marriage, his union with his wife was consummated without the approval of his parents.

Okyeame Kwame stated during the interview that both families supported their union and that their love was apparent. However, religion was a serious obstacle that prevented them from being married.

Their marriage arrangements appeared to be hindered by their families’ religious beliefs.
