Napoli forward Victor Osimhen wants to include a €120 million release clause in his new deal at the club, after being priced out of a move this summer.
Osimhen, 24, was linked with Manchester United, but Napoli set an extortionate asking price of €200 million – a fee that president Aurelio De Laurentiis boasted only Paris Saint-Germain could afford.
The Nigerian international is reportedly happy to extend his stay in Naples and would like to sign a new contract at Napoli, but he wants to include a release clause in the deal, according to Sky Sport Italia.
