NY, New York – June 10, 2024 With pride, the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA announces that seven deserving members of the Ghanaian entertainment industry will be honored at this year’s ceremony. The 2024 awards ceremony will honor the noteworthy contributions of ace musician Prince Bright of Buk-Bak fame, well-known TV and radio host Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, renowned sound engineer and music producer Jay Q, ace radio broadcaster Doreen Andoh, and US-based Ghanaian talents MC Papa Links, DJ E Love, and DJ Prince Paul. The event is set for July 6th at the Kauffman Music Center in New York.
For many years, Prince Bright has played a crucial part in the Ghanaian music scene. He is best recognized for his significant contribution to the music pair Buk-Bak. His influence has influenced the style and direction of contemporary Ghanaian music.
Ghanaian household name Delay has come a long way as a TV and radio host. She has become one of the most renowned and significant media figures in the nation as a result of her powerful interviews and television appearances that have changed the game in the media.
Ghana’s biggest successes have been produced by the renowned sound engineer and music producer Jay Q.
He is now regarded as one of the best in the business of music production thanks to his creative production methods and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Doreen Andoh, a highly esteemed radio broadcaster, has been a trailblazer in the media industry for over 2 decades. Her compelling voice and engaging style have captivated audiences for years, earning her a distinguished place in Ghanaian media.
MC Papa Links, DJ E Love, and DJ Prince Paul FSRDJ have each made significant impacts in the entertainment scenes within the Ghanaian diaspora in the US.
Their contributions to music and entertainment have fostered a vibrant cultural exchange and brought Ghanaian music to a broader audience.
